So many people do, but please do not feed the fish here! It affects the natural balance of the eco-system here, as well as encouraging the fish to behave in unnatural ways, becoming too used to human contact. Enjoy watching them, swim with them, but leave it at that please.

Goat Island is a marine reserve to the North of Auckland. It gets it's name from the days or exploratory travel - goat islands were capable of containing herds of goats from the ships as goats were......

Goat Island is in the Cape Rodney-Okakari Point Marine Reserve. Fish can be hand-fed and you can take glass-bottom boat trips around the island. You can also go snorkelling there.
