This place has won the top award for best fish 'n chips many times.
Favorite Dish: Buy fish 'n chips of course!! Get them in traditional newspaper and sit outside with the seagulls and sparrows nearby wanting scraps, and smell the sea air, and enjoy the feed. Some tomato sauce makes it a little nicer if you like that sort of thing, Or if you are English you may like some vinegar sprinkled over the chops. Oh and lemon juice on the fish of course, and I like pepper.

Favorite thing: Kaiaua is a small town, but they do have the Bay View Hotel. It's situated on Coast Road and is right by the bridge, you can't miss it. Oh and it's right next to the famous Fish 'n Chips shop......
Fondest memory: I'm sure you'll get a very nice cool beer here, if you feel like such a thing!

If you have a car and time on your hands, take the coastal road from Clevedon, via Kawakawa Bay down to Kaiaua and Miranda. Especially on a nice day, this can be a pleasing drive. It's rather long,......
