Favorite thing: Most visitors to Rotorua will encounter this striking looking building on Fenchurch Street. The towns official tourist information office, you can find everything here from the standard array of information leaflets, to accommodation booking, tours and activities, shower facilities, luggage storage facilities, and a decent gift shop.

Fondest memory: I really like how even the small external features of the building like the maori design under the windows, are in keeping with the city, which has some of the strongest and most evident Maori culture in New Zealand.

Favorite thing: By night, the Visitor Information Centre lights up beautifully, and by day of course you can go there to find out about all the activities and places to visit in the region...the extreme sports, all the geothermal attractions...it's an extremely well equipped Information Centre with good facilities. It's also quite an interesting building and decorative on the inside too.
