Favorite thing: The Tauranga Visitor Centre is well worth a visit. Situated just one block back from The Strand which is on the waterfront. Well within walking distance of downtown city.
You will find many souvenirs, both classy and a wide variety to suit every need. As well, you can make travel bookings here with the Information Officers.
Internet services available as well as photo download to CD facilities.
The staff were very helpful and friendly. If you need any help the information officers are linked to the other Information Centres around the country as well as tourist operators.
