The Coromandel Green Mussel

One thing that Coromandel Pennisula seamen and Arnold Schwartzenegger have in common is that both know how to grow "mussel".Coromandel is infamous throughout the region for their very wonderful green mussels, and this is evidenced in alot of meals throughout the pennisula. During my recent visit, I enjoyed a Mussel Fritter sandwich which was quite delicious at the Coromandel Cafe.You can also purchase fresh mussels from this region, but you would have to know what to do with them! They can also be purchased pre-steamed.Get some mussels if you are headed up to Coromandel!
