Be polite.
Many campers visit this region and I am aware of a few run ins with locals from time to time.Please be aware that all the land is privately owned so always ask before pitching your tent for the night.I have witnessed tourists pitch their tent on peoples front lawns while they were out. Man, thats really pushing it but it truly happened ... twice.Most people will be happy to let you camp on their land as long aas you are polite enough to ask their permission first. Just head to the nearest house and they will either give you permission or direct you to the right person.
