 grets Says:  We are given life jackets to wear and then securely strapped into the boat - all three of us in the front seat (David, myself and the driver.It all seems quite gentle - for the first five seconds, the all hell was let loose! It was only a small course, but my gawd did it...

 grets Says:  In the "back garden" of the cafe is a small man made lake snaking its way around the countryside. For a small fee, you can hire a jet boat with a driver to take you around this little track, and David and I did!

 Mangaweka is a small town on State Highway 1 between Waiouru and Hunterville. The flying tearooms will catch anyone's attention, although they were closed for renovations when we passed through.
