A wonderful independent bookshop, known to all in Palmy and far and wide. It is conveniently located next to the library in George Street - the street of cafes.
Bruce is an older guy, these independent booksellers are an endangered species, and the shop doesn't seem to have a website.
I've been to a book launch here and it was very agreeable.
There is also a great second hand bookshop in Rangitikei Street and the Red Cross book sale, once a year in winter is famous for being crowded with avid buyers who can get quite aggressive.
A friend tried to take me to it but we couldn't get parking within cooee of it. So popular.
