On State Highway 2 between Pahiatua and Woodville is Mangatainoka, the home of Tui Brewery. The brewery was founded in 1889, and has gone through a few ownership changes over the years, but is now owned by Dominion Breweries.
The tour is not much different from many other brewery tours, but I did enjoy a pint of Tui, Mangatainoka Dark and Wagstaff's ale.
$10 per person for the tour, which goes through the small Tui museum, through the factory, and then allows you some taste-testing at the end.
