Packing List

It depends totally on the time of year that you wish to travel into New Zealand and on to Wellington, as our climate can go from one extreme to the other, although Wellington, in winter time does not get snow, but does get very cold winds and lots of rain. Just good comfortable walking shoes and clothes, nothing special really. I don't think you need anything special, just what you would normally have with you. There are plenty of Drug stores/Chemists around to help for that extra little thing. The weather is constantly changing and can be very wet as well as extremely windy. Bring rain gear, and always carry a light windbreaker. People tend to dress casually, but if you go clubbing avoid jeans (blue or black) and sports shoes. You should be able to find all non-prescription medications or toiletry items without problems. Keep in mind that shops may close early or all-day Sundays. NZ imports most of its products so prices can be high even with the exchange rate. To be safe bring everything you need to wear, take photos, etc.

I tood a back pack and a suitcase. I left the suitcase behind most of the time. Summer can be really hot there so loose tops and shorts.Winter really wrap up well with nice thermal clothing :-) You can get everything you need. again you can get everything you need
