Don't forget to take some spray for the Sandflyes.Sandflyies is most common on south island and they bit very hard.

It rains a lot. When not raining UV is very high, so take sun glasses. Get's cold. Water is freezing, so take waders should you wish to fish or else your knees will lock into place.
