    Emma, just blending in
    4 more images

Emma always comes down to the gate to greet me when I come home and she blends in with the driveway pebbles...the others often do that too, still, Emma is the most curious. she has been a good friend to Lady and both often enjoyed sharing a sunny possie with each other

    Wood Pigeons

fly into town, not often to see and that behaviour is quite unexplained. Wood Pigeons are NZ Native Pigeons, 2 1/2 times bigger then the normal Pigeon and in early times, supplement food for the hunting Maori People.
here arround the Estuary one can find all Birdlife of NZ.
last week I've seen Spoonbills, wading in the low tide, feeding on small crabs.

Christmas Decoration is a real Local Custom here, many Housowners 'competing' for the Neighbourhoods honour. it looks georgous at nite, but I thought this one looks even good during the day
