Ok - you can pay alot of money to see Glow-worms but in Arthurs Pass they are just along the side of the road. If you are there for a night - go for a walk, head out the main road east, past the police station - keep walking.
Be very aware of any traffic and get off the road if a car comes - they wont' see you or expect you!
Keep walking the road slowly turns right. Turn off your torch (flashlight - to the non locals), On the right side of the road there are some glowworms on the side of the bank.
No!!! turn OFF the Flashlight - your eyes need to adjust. And please don't touch them - it's kills ems.
Dress Code:
Maybe a rain coat, and a torch.
