Khmer Satay Noodle House, Christchurch

The amazing taste of the satay sauce seems to stem from the astronomical amount of MSG they put in it, the food was overcooked and very dry, and the soups lacked a lot of flavour.
It's situated in a little foodcourt surrounded by the hussle and bussle of shoppers and lunchtime businessmen, however dont rule the foodcourt out completey as their are some lovely other little restaurants located in their, just a shame i icked the worst one to dine at, the staff wer'e lazy and the lady that owned it stuggled to be able to speak any english and was just plain rude - avoid this eatery

Favorite Dish: my favourite dish was ruined by the horribly dry and yuck taste of the overpowering satay sauce, i wont dine here again as afterwards i felt so sick.

Check out the Asian foodcourt that is situated on Highstreet just off Colombo Street. There is some great cuisine to be found here. My favourite is the Khmer Stay Noodle House. Take their chicken satay with stir fried vege's, rice, and special peanut sauce. It's amazing and even better than the satay I have eaten in Asia!!!

Favorite Dish: I have only had the satay here a couple of times and it's the best in the world. It's freshly stir fried and the best flavours I have ever tasted. Go and check it out.
