The other day I went grocery shopping at my local Pak'n Save and stopped at the bakery and pastry section.
Favorite Dish: Why would they sell "Texas" Muffins at my local store in Chch? And then it hit me...everything is big in Texas, and this muffin certainly was big (don't be fooled by the image and the fact that it's cut in half). This thing is a whole meal. The label on the shelf said Strawberry Cream Cheese, which sounded intruiging, even though it didn't look too good, but I'm always in the mood for trying new food (most of it that is), and at $1.35 a piece I could not resist - God knows what this giant mushroom would have cost me back home...and there I'd usually only get one third of this size anyway. It tasted better than I expected, but I won't have another one. And btw, The real American muffins I had in the US were even bigger...
