own transport is a nessessity when driving in the countryside, but we all know that and has its rewards of course. stop where you like and take a photo you think is worth taking.
this one is worth taking. the windbreaker hedges you can encounter all over in Canterbury, sheltering the properties and stock from the cold southerlies and blastering nor'wester and looking good too..what you think?
today was a warm sunny, spectaculare colourful Autum day, I love this time of the year, driving along in the countryside, thinking of Rosie, we liked doing that sort of thing together and she would like that I am continuing on doing it I am sure of it.
I am talking about my Dog, passing away yesterday, we shared good 10 years together
was of course delighted, she's never seen an Alpaca in her life, and Sal and Andy where very kind to pose with her
farmland and breeding cattle or...Alpacas.
it comes quite as surprise, when you see a couple of creamish coloured Alpacas on the Paddock.
today we drove along the Road and seen these to with there Breeder and of course, I could not resist, getting out of the car and asking for a pic, which was generously granted. .....check it out
but be aware not without licence and in season. the Ashley River has many good Fish, like the chinook salmon, brown and rainbow trout.
click on the pic and read on.
