    Shack Rock

    do not swim here, right at the Shag Rock, the current is very strong between South Shore Spit and Sumner Beach.it looks inviting, but it is dangerous, even canoing.you need to know what you're doing

    when coming from Christchurch Center, turn left into the Esplanade...lot's of fine Restaurants,lovely walk or climb up to Scarborough Hill
