The atmosphere and food were fantastic at this mainly open air restaurant. The service was very friendly.
Favorite Dish: We were a party of two adults. We bought one mixed platter and one bowl of mussels (wine and garlic sauce). This was sufficient for us! The platters and bowls of mussels were about $17 each.
These "boys" deserve to go far. The price is affordable, the ambience is quaint, and the quality is high.
Yes, the Springbok/All Black match on the roof has been going on for years and years.
We stop everytime we can to get a pot or two of mussels, done every which way....
Mum and Dad would approve, too.
Favorite Dish: Guinness and bacon is different.
Otherwise, we go for the garlic and white wine, chowder, and bread!
There's nothing like NZ butter on bread.

When you go on vacation, you don't think about working right? -wrong, well for me anyways on my trip to Picton, "they" put me to work on the farm, i had to do a number of chores, i guess they are hiring foriegners like myself to do all of the hard work he he ..:-)
But the hard work was rewarding, and fun, it made me feel good especailly after it was over!!! I think i will appreciate the hard work, farmers do for us more now, they are hard working people who deserve more credit
Favorite thing: I made a lot of animal friends at the farm, they posed very well for my camera, including the donkey ... he was the best... you can tell he loves the camera..
