The golf course at Alex is a really well laid out 18 hole course. There are plenty of bunkers and tight fairways to keep your concentration high and the greens have a few challenges to ensure Par isn't always that easy. There are many undulations and lots of trees so a varied range of holes.

The course is located just out of town on the road to Clyde and has the Central Otago Rail Trail along one side.

The cost is $25. If this is a bit steep for you it's only $15 down the road at Dunstan Golf Course in Clyde though it's a 9 hole course there.

Equipment: Alex course has a well stocked Pro Shop where you can hire everything you need including clubs and buggy. You'll obviously need your own shoes!
