Arrowtown has stunning boutique restaurants, and bars.
our favorites are Saffron - fine New Zealand food, Pesto Italian and the secret tuck away bar - Blue Door in the same alley.
Explore other alley ways for Mantra - Indian, Automatic - Noodle Bar, Arrow thai , and the infmaous joes gargae for coffee and breakfast or lunch - try the sweetie or the M1 - eggs and bacon or eggs and mushrooms in a roll.

This new boutique theatre and bar has been touted by movie-goers as the best in New Zealand. What's so good about this little Arrowtown theatre? For a start, huge seats with armrests for pizza and wine glasses. Then there is the decor, a mix of romantic charm and funky modernism; the films, mostly arthouse; and the bar and roaring fire.
Dress Code: Casual, anything tidy goes!

Here's a picture of the pub in Arrow Town - The Royal Oak. They do great lunches and a great place to watch Rugby.
Nice for a drink in the evening. You can drink outside in the summer.
