When I was a student (both school and polytech) this WAS the place to be and be seen!!
The line outside was always long and the club was always packed!!
Music was R&B and chart stuff which is what I was into back then and I can imagine its still the same.
The best bit about KCs was the cheap drinks - we used to get "shakers" for $5 and have shots all night!! 2 for 1 lolly drinks and loads more!!
Dress Code: They used to be pretty strict on guys but I would say no white soled shoes, singlets etc the normal stuff.

The Dunedin Casino is a small casino conveniently located at the Southern Cross Hotel near to Princess Street. The casino opens until about 3am and you need to dress up formal attire to enter. I managed to win some money playing jackpot at the casino.
