The boulders

Moeraki Boulders is a beach not far from Dunedin where many spherical boulders are located. Some of these rocks are almost as high as the average person and are dotted along the beach for roughly a kilometre. They have been created through the action of wind and waves on chunks of rock fallen from a cliff face, resulting in what looks like a giants marbles.

Glenfalloch

The blend of natives and exotics are azaleas, rhododendrons and many varieties of fuchsia. Doves flutter in the trees, peacocks roam free, and tea may be taken in the most pleasant of surroundings. The original homestead (1871) still stands.
