    NZ's oldest University has a splendid collection of buildings.

    The historic registry is probably the photographers main delight.

    Driving to Albatross Colony

    Do drive carefully as the road can be narrow & winding, we were almost hit by a car while negotiating a near 360 degree bend.

    THE TRAIN ROUTE IS SCENIC

    For 6 hours we traveled from Dunedin to Pukerangi/Middlemarch then connected by Citibus Newton Lines coach to Queenstown via the Maniototo Plains.

    We arrived in the train station a few minutes before departure time so we still had time to explore the interior. It is said that the interior tiles is Royal Doulton's.

    I went on a 8x8 wheel drive to see the wildlife with Natures Wonders Naturally and it was great. We saw blue penguins, yellow-eyed penguins, New Zealand fur seals and Stewart Island shags up close.

    Go to Baldwin street - it claimed itself as the steepest street in the world. Walk up there and back, go to the souvenir shop and get yourself a certificate for fun :)
