Even faraway locations such as Glenorchy have their past to remember. Here they remember the men who lost their lives fighting in World War 1.
For New Zealanders, the men went right to the other side of the world to fight a battle in order to maintain freedom here.
Many soldiers lost their lives, including Glenorchy residents. Men with health issues or age issues, and the women were left to run the country including these remote farms.
We remember these fallen heroes, on April 25th each year. This is what we call ANZAC DAy - Australia & New Zealand Army Corps.
