Even if you don't dare to do a bungy jump, you can walk around the Bungy Centre with exhibitions on the history and equipment used for bungy jump.

The surrounding is very beautiful. You can take pictures from the viewing platform or head to the bridge to take some pictures.

Did I have a go at the bungy?

There is a cafe where you can have a sip of coffee. At the souvenir you could purchase some t-shirt, caps, mugs back as souvenir. Take a look at the video show of past bungy jumpers doing their jumps.

The Kawarau Bridge Bungy jump is the home to the world's first and famous bungy jump. It is a 43m high bungy jump operated since Nov 1988.
By popular demand, the staff performed a forward Bungy jump, by throwing himself off the bridge with his legs attached by a single rubber band.
    5 - 4 - 3 - 2 - 1 BUNGY!!! and off he goes.

For $140, you can choose to jump backwards, forwards, tandem with another person, spin or somersault at the Kawarau Bungy Centre.
