Bungy jump over the local rivers, and get the thrill of your life.
There are a few sites around New Zealand where you can make a bungy jump. The first and original commercial site (started 1988) is right here near Queenstown at the Kawarau Bridge. This is also the base and home of AJHackett Bungy.
You will find a very modern, well presented centre, with display and cafe/bar available to use. This is a great place where friends who are not jumping can hang out while you do the business!
As you can see I did this jump, it was fantastic. Bit scary standing on the plank and jumping but once airborne I loved it! And NO, my eyes didn't pop out of their sockets :-))
It's a little bit awkward at the bottom for staff to catch you and get you released into the boat, but all part of the fun.
AJHackett offer packages for this and other sites, check their website for these details.
Minimum 10 yrs old.
Minimum 35kg, Maximum 235 kg.
