Bungy Jumping.: Site of the first Bungy Jump
Well the first commercial bungy jumping enterprise, anyways. The inventors of bungy, AJ Hacket and Henry Van Asch opened their first bungy site on the Kawarau Bridge just west of Queenstown.

many people associate Qtown with the bungy emotion; bungy it is fun but the prices are outrageous...at least i found them outrageous:) single bungy jump is about 140NZ a t the Kawarau bridge (the original site of the first comercial jump) and then there are deals. Check out their website....so if u have plenty of money and nothing to do..why not jump ??

    Bungy Jumping.: AJ Hackett Bungy
No, I was not crazy enough to jump; however, my friend Sandi made the plunge. She jumped from the Kawarau Bridge (site of the first bungy in 1988). It was a beautiful location, and she had a blast. It was all very safe and organized, and a mere 142 feet! Photos and DVD's available for purchase to record the event (and fear) in living color.

The shuttle leaves from the Shotover Jet Building several times a day.
