    Among one of the other activities to do (apart from bungy that is) is paragliding - tandem naturally. Discover Queenstown in a whole new perspective as this begins 400m above Queenstown. The cost of the flight is NZD$185..00 and the gondola ride to the Peak is NZD$17.00

    As a birthday present I got a tandem parapente over Queenstown. Firstly we took a ride up the Skyline Gondola, then about a 10 minute walk up the hill to the take-off area. The run up is pretty darn scary. You have to run as fast as you can towards the edge of the cliff. Your brain plays tricks on you at this points and tells your legs to stop working!! Once airborne, it was a great experience. it was so peaceful soaring over Queenstown like a bird. That was until my instructor took us into a vertical spiral!! I had so much adrenaline running through me once we landed. Then my 'friends' decided to put me through more pain and took me jetboating.

    If you want to try tandem paragliding, this is available at Bob's Peak, Queenstown.... I can't think of a more scenic place to try this...
