Queenstown Mall is the main road in Queenstown downtown and it is a very pleasant place to spend some time: a quick stop for a drink or a longer pause for a nice lunch in the open air, or just for a bit of shopping and relax in between adrenaline activities.
The Queenstowm Mall ends on Queenstown Lake. Take some time for a stroll on the waterfront, above all on sunny days, the air is so clear and fresh!

Probably one of the most scenic and photographed street of shops in the world and full of bistros and cafes where you can sit and sample the cuisine of New Zealand and the world.
This is a pedestrian only street right in the heart of the town, it really is the hub of Queenstown and a great place to sit and take it all in.
Have a look at the old waterwheel at the top of the mall, the mall comes out down by the jetty on the lakefront where you will see massive fish swimming around. There is an underwater viewing area here and a number of jetboat trips leave from the jetty. Also look at the walls on the lakefront to see the various flood levels over the years.

Address: The Mall, Central Queenstown
The main area of town has plenty of restaurants (including one of the newest Hard Rock Cafe's in the world), shops, a post office, internet cafe, and much more.
It is a very small and walkable area, only a few blocks big. The Mall is a good place for nightlife and bars.
