A mix of parachuting and gliding, without the freefall. You can do this solo or with a friend, exciting and safe. Rather more exhilirating that it may look from a distance, you have a pleasant launch from the custom built platform at the rear of the boat.
With the parachute inflated, you rise gently up and are then towed around the lake as you rise to approx 600ft and remain tethered to the boat.
This activity operates all year round, and although cold in winter, the scenery is gorgeous and the views great from the paraglider.

Queenstown Paraflights can provide Jackets, gloves and hats if you need them.
You can take a camera with you, if you think you can operate it while 'up there'. Great views, so I do recommend you try this. Put the strap around your wrist or connect it to you somehow.
