leisure pool @ splash palace

Whether you want to lap swim, slip down the waterslide, jump off the high board or just relax in the swirl pool - Splash Palace has it all.
The 50m main pool has a moveable bulkhead to allow for activities such as aquarobics, aquaboxing, aquajogging, lap swimming, learn to swim classes, diving and using the waterslide. Already the pool has been host to national swimming championships and other sports such as waterpolo, underwater hockey, synchronised swimming and canoe polo.

Equipment: There is a childrens pool where infants can explore the joys of waterplay, a leisure pool where kids can have fun under the waterfalls and where the family can enjoy the wave maker, and there is even a cafe where you can meet friends for a coffee after your swim.
The changing rooms are divided into: male, female, family and disabled.

We only stayed in Invercargill for a few hours, we spent the time wandering around the gardens and saying hello to a 120 year old Tuatara.
