 Atre Says:  As the glacier is relatively fast moving, blocks of ice often fall, ice caves cave in, slopes slide down, and so on, thats why the base of the glacier is roped off. However if you want to see it closer, you can climb over...its what I did, but if you get crushed, dont blame...
