Go to Bonzai Cliff. Its the site of a mass suicide of Japanese soldiers. Rather than surrender, thousands jumped to there death. Beyond erie past, Bonzai Cliff is a picturesque backdrop for whatever floats your boat.

Don't expect Saipan to be anything, it is not like where you came from, it is not entirely an island paradise, it is everything but nothing that you think. Once you get the preconceived thoughts out of your head you can see the beauty in and enjoy Saipan.

Above everything, make sure that at some point you get out of the tourist areas. There is much more to Saipan than a hotel and a beach, many people make the mistake never to leave the main village.

There are many locations made famous by WWII on most of the Mariana Islands. Saipan played a huge part of the war, therefore, there are many WWII sites to visit. Not only are they reminders of a very unfortunate time in this islands history, they are some of the most beautiful places I've ever seen.

Saipan has a slow, easy feeling. No one rushes, and everyone enjoys life from moment to moment. I think my fondest memories are of the mates I made, and being blessed to have lived on such a beautiful place.
