    Diving the warm waters

[I apologize for the quality of the photos in this tip. I've uploaded them several times. They are crystal clear for about a day, then for some reason, VT database causes them to become light saturated.]

Saipan is a great location for diving. The tropical waters and weather have been entered in the Guinness Book of World Records as being the most consistent of the world. During all of my dives here, the water fluctuated between 81~83F (28C)

The waters are renowned for being a deep blue, with great visibility.

Most dives in Saipan are accessible from shore or beach. The currents and tides do change, so best that you go with reputable and professional guide.

Beach dives typically have a guide rope over the shallows of the reef so that you may pull yourself over the reef regardless of the water currents.

Equipment: All equipment is available for rental at local shops.
There is only one shop currently that offers Nitrox filled tanks, but cost is very high.

The contact information below is for a highly recommended local professional. He dives as a passion and not as a job, so he will give you great advise, good equipment, and enthusiastic help. His costs are very low, just to cover his out of pocket prices.

Saipan is one of the best places in the world to go diving or snorkeling.
Clear water, and many different things to see underwater. Everything from turtles to tanks, left over wrecks from WW2.

Bring a cam if you have one...
