 | Palau Restaurants | Tips 1 - 10 of 21 | | When picking that perfect dining locale, best to go all out and dine like the Micronesian Kings of yore.... Lessee, need a golden sunset, beachfront private table, maybe some of dem tiki torches, and a feast of seafood.... and top it off with a nice bottle of French wine... (French wine ?? Well, sometimes its OK to make allowances for the comforts of the western age.... beside Palaun wine, while available is pretty spotty...) Leave a Comment

A simple family-run restaurant with a large open kitchen where a very nice guy from the Philippines (you guess it named Ben) churns out some of the best Filipino food I have had since Bagio. Simple but good honest home style Filipino left me feeling lumpiaed out but fat and happy. Their are a lot of Filipinos that work or visit and this seems to be a place that they go to from my visit so has the local Filipino vote for good affordable food.
The dishs are really a nice variety local very fresh fried fish and rice to rich paellas and cocidosis very nice. Popular dishes are lechón (whole roasted pig), adobo (chicken and/or pork marinated in soy sauce, viniger and Garlic with a dash of lemon and than a little of this and that. Also Kare-kare (beef vegetables cooked in tasty peanut sauce) with a little ), pancit (stir-fried noodles), lumpia Filipino style fried spring rolls. I really enjoyed this restaurant. The staff was quite friendly, they gave a complimentry plate of sashimi when you order and it is an indoor restaurant with open walls which was really nice. The menu had pictures so I was finally able to see what fruit bat soup looks like. They had a really nice sampler of Palauan food which my girlfriend had while I had lots of sushi. It is located right in the heart of downtown Koror on the south side of main street and on the second story of the building. Leave a Comment

Very tasty real Indian food you can experience. Non smoking but there is a small space outside to smoke.
Nan-bread staffed with cheese is absolutely beautiful. Prown curry is delicious!!! Leave a Comment Theme: IndianPrice: US$21-30 » Currency ConverterComparison: about averageAddress: Right across from the VIP HotelDirections: Central Koror

Apart from surfing the web and sending emails, u can get great ice cream at US$1.50 per cone. American breakfast and waffles are also available. this is the main Internet cafe in Palau, conveniently located near the WCTC Shopping Mall.

There are many small cafes on Koror, the main island and capital town. Several in the main street (only street) and many on the beachfront. I wont recommend one because they are all good. Try the locals who sell their freshly caught fish and will cook it for you on the beach while you watch. Leave a Comment

This is a local mom and pop diner with an extensive Japanese, Filipino, and American menu. We had sashimi, lumpia, and tempura for appetizers. Bill had pork adobo and I had the ubon combination which is a huge bowl of noodles with beef, pork, chicken, and spam.
It was all excellent Leave a Comment Theme: LocalPrice: US$11-20 » Currency ConverterComparison: less expensive than averageAddress: On Koror islandPhone: 488-2689Directions: On the main street on the island

We couldn't have been more taken with the look of this resort. It's seriously some of the better views on the island. We decided to eat at the resort's buffet that night. Not only was the food HORRIBLE but it was more than $30 USD per person. Even the desserts were dried out and bad tasting. For us, it was a waste of money and digestion.

This is not to be missed - nor is it hard to find. With a large, lighted sign outside this is one place that's hard to miss. We were told to eat here for the pizza. I ordered the local mix pizza, my husband choose a custom toppings pizza, while our son enjoyed the local curry dish. Each of these were delicious. One of the best dinners that we has on our entire stay. The service was fast and pleasant. We even purchased a "story board" from the restaurant for a very reasonable price!!
