ToToTo: One of My Favourite Restaurants in Palau

by canuckmike

I really enjoyed this restaurant. The staff was quite friendly, they gave a complimentry plate of sashimi when you order and it is an indoor restaurant with open walls which was really nice. The menu had pictures so I was finally able to see what fruit bat soup looks like. They had a really nice sampler of Palauan food which my girlfriend had while I had lots of sushi. It is located right in the heart of downtown Koror on the south side of main street and on the second story of the building.

Taj Restaurant: Great Indian Food

by pangelipc

It is located on the 2nd floor. But as soon as you entered, you felt like you had entered a new paradise. It was well airconditioned with a beautiful colorful decor. The staff were well dressed in Indian wear. We had the nan bread. They had a good variety (garlic, cheese, plain, etc). Dal was good. But their Chicken Tikka was excellent. It was marinated well and moist. We also loved that they had Indian beer on their menu & local (Palauan) beer. I really enjoyed my yogurt drink. It was very refreshing and cold.

The Taj: The Taj....but seriously!

by raych31182

Ok you already heard about it, but I'm seconding the motion, and admit its fun to see different people in front of the painting, everybody add your taj pictures! Anyway the laaaaaammmmmb sooo good, we had the naan with cheese too, but prefer the garlic. Also theres some mango drink that was really good, we ate here a few times, and nothing was ever bad, and the servers were very attentive.

Furusato’s: Excellent Food

by geekgrrl

This is a local mom and pop diner with an extensive Japanese, Filipino, and American menu. We had sashimi, lumpia, and tempura for appetizers. Bill had pork adobo and I had the ubon combination which is a huge bowl of noodles with beef, pork, chicken, and spam. It was all excellent

Dining like Kings...

by kenmerk

When picking that perfect dining locale, best to go all out and dine like the Micronesian Kings of yore.... Lessee, need a golden sunset, beachfront private table, maybe some of dem tiki torches, and a feast of seafood.... and top it off with a nice bottle of French wine... (French wine ?? Well, sometimes its OK to make allowances for the comforts of the western age.... beside Palaun wine, while available is pretty spotty...)

Staekhouse

There are many small cafes on Koror, the main island and capital town.Several in the main street (only street) and many on the beachfront. I wont recommend one because they are all good. Try the locals who sell their freshly caught fish and will cook it for you on the beach while you watch.

Internet Cafe

by alvinwong

Apart from surfing the web and sending emails, u can get great ice cream at US$1.50 per cone. American breakfast and waffles are also available.this is the main Internet cafe in Palau, conveniently located near the WCTC Shopping Mall. ice cream: vanilla, chocalate. heavenly on a boiling hot afternoon.

Bem Ermii: Tasty and cheap burgers, fries

by juliewong

A van selling the tastiest burgers in town and suitable for those in need of a quick bite. The price is about US$4-6 for a set comprising burger (beef/chicken), coke and fries.
