Point Cruz Yacht Club: good place to meet expats in Honiara

by minstrel74

This is one of the few places in the Solomon Islands where you can meet expatriates and other travelers. Since there are very few travelers in the Solomon Islands, this is a great spot to get advice and talk to expats who know the country well. Best of all, though, this is a wonderful place to sit back, have a beer, and enjoy the company of some of the colorful characters passing through or temporarily living in the Solomon Islands. Everyone should have a Solbrew lager while they are in the Solomon Islands, and the Point Cruz Yacht Club is a great place to do this. The heat will probably necessitate it, anyway. Order a beer, enjoy the festive ambience, and dream about the adventures you'll have when you get out of Honiara!
