Luggage and bags: Take a bag that is not too big to cart around everywhere but that you can fit some goodies in to take home... :)
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: You won't need much - swimmers, shorts, singlets/t-shirts, thongs or sandals, sarong etc and one change of 'warmer' clothes - long pants, long top and maybe a light jacket.
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: You can buy everything you will want from the chemists in Port Vila but the prices will be higher than usual (compared to Australia anyway)...we saw everything from sunscreen to coldsore cream to cough lollies.
Photo Equipment: Take LOTS of film and/or lots of memory cards for your digi camera. You'll end up taking heaps of photos!
Miscellaneous: Take some insect repellant with DEET in it...in Australia get RID (maroon casing) or Tropical Strenght Aeroguard. Also get malaria tablets if you're going anywhere but your resort & Port Vila.
