  • Black sandy beaches on the way to Devil's Point - Port-Vila

About 15 mintues out of Port Vila after Hideaway Island is a road which takes you out to Devil's Point. The Point is at the end of the road, along the way there is a Restaurant call Benjor Beach Club. I've never eaten here but have heard it's not bad. Along this road to the point is incredible black sandy beaches. We pulled to the side of the road and gathered some of the most unusual shells that I used to make necklaces for my friends.

    Mele Cascades
  • Tip Rating:
  • I highly recommend hiring a car and travel around Port Vila. You can stop where you please and drive at your own pace. The island is safe and friendly and you can buy fresh fruit along the way and support the locals, cause they're champions.
On the way you can visit the Mele cascades, which is about a 20 minute walk through a rainforest to the waterfall.

    Kava Bar
Best Kava Bar I have been to in Vila.
Near Mangoes, at end of Hospital grounds (other side of road from Hospital and south (no good with directions - assuming Magoes is just north of the gate leading from Hospital, then the Kava Bar is 100 m south). Wonderful view over lagoon to La Meridien.
Not too tourisy but doesnt stay open very late - about 6:30- 7pm
