I had the luxury of being able to borrow a car to drive around the main island Efate. At Havannah Harbour, a local man named Ernest has painstakingly collected as many World War II relics as he could get his hands (Havannah Harbour was home to the US Pacific fleet during the war). While I am no manic war historian, it was interesting to imgaine how much this collection had occupied of this man's life. Donations were accepted gratefully. |
