There are no taxis in Wallis et Futuna. The best is to arrange a transport with your hotel. There are some people willing to rent their cars, and the best place to get in contact is at the airport, when a plane arrives.
There are 2 or 3 flights a week between Wallis and Futuna, and a ferry to Futuna and Alofi.

The only airline flighing to Wallis is Aircalin, the airline of New Caledonia, linking Noumea/New Caledonia with Papeete/Tahiti. So you can use Wallis as a stopover. The few flights per week are mostly booked out, so reserv in advance.
