    • An Excellent activity is to hike the coastline. A good area to start is at Winward point at the wery tip of the Island or at the western tip. The scenery is breathtaking ranging from cliffs to pebbly beaches. Great spots for romantic picnics and sunsets are at the western tip. Other great spots are around limestone bay, flat cap point and blackgarden bay.

    For those who love fishing this is can be relaxing and fun if you find the right spot. The awesome thing is, you never know what you will catch, from snapper, hinds, parrotfish, jacks, triggerfish and it goes on and on. An awesome spot to do this is flatcap point next to little bay. You might even catch a barracuda.

    The Coastline and cliffs of Anguilla are made up of sedimentary rocks and excellent source of fossilised shells and roots. A great spot is between crocus bay and Katouche bay.

    Boat Racing is the National Sport in Anguilla. Unlike the rest of the West Indies where cricket reigns supreme. The tradition finds its roots in Anguillas history of seafaring, where her men roamed the caribbean trading and in search of work in places like the cane fields of the Dominican Republic. Every Holiday in Anguilla is a boat Race, the Biggest being those held during the summer festival, first week in August.     For the rum lovers or those who just want a taste of Anguilla this is an awesome experience. While Anguilla has no sugar cane plantations or distilleries, the raw rums are imported and blended in Anguilla to create flavours. to die for. For the tequila lovers, Patron Tequilas are a sister company and are also an option for tasting. The factory is open 12-4 for tasting and tours can be arranged. we have not tried the tours but if anyone has, drop me a note and let me know how it was.

    • A great place to do this is at rendezvous bay any where between the Anguilla Great House and the Rendezvous Bay Hotel. Don't expect to find much on the sand. The best finds are in the shallow water using snorkelling gear.
