You just Might See a turtle nesting
This Leatherback turtle came right up to the beach at Cap Juluca Hotel to nest in front of the restaurant. It is an awesome sight to see. One these guys have started nesting, there isnt much that will stop them. While turtles populations are generally on the decline, because of a moratorium put in place by the government, sightings are becoming more and more common. This one was approx. 6 foot lonf
An awesome spot for snorkelling or just chiilling. It is a small beach, but with the underwater scenery you probably will not be spending much time there. Schools of fish large and small sea fans and a wide range of species abound including turtles. The beach is accessible by land only of you are willing to climb down the cliffs on a rope. The easiest way though is by catching a ferry service operated by calvin from crocus bay.
