Called the Bob Dylan of reggae, Bankie Banx is a legend and Anguilla's most popular native son. After touring the world and playing with many of the top musical acts in the world, Bankie returned home to Anguilla and opened up the Dune Preserve. In addition to being host of Moonsplash, this venue has live music every Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday night. Usually, Bankie is one of the performers. If you want to listen to a music legend, practically in his own living room, this is something not to miss while in Anguilla. Even if you don't like live music, the Dune Preserve itself is worth seeing (it's essentially a beach fort constructed of driftwood and old boats and is one of the most chilled-out places you can imagine). Bankie is also extremely approachable and genuine, so if you get there early or stay late you can chat it up with the legend himself.

Both Johnnos and the Pumphouse are tourist attractions. While some may enjoy surrounding themselves with other tourists, I do not. There were some locals here too,
but they tend to attract mostly visitors.
