Top Anguilla hotels
The good news is the water is so clear here that you can swim right out from the beach and have great vision with the help of a mask. The bad news, is there isn't much to see. You will run into small coral reefs just off the beach, maybe a few smaller fish, but that's about it. a mask, snorkel and flippers. I found the flippers cumbersome in the shallow water and I'm not so handy with a snorkel, so soon that went the way of the flippers.
Swimming with the dolphins was great. You start out in a pool getting used to sea animals with stingrays (minus the stinger). Once everyone is comfortable there you move to a bigger pool where you are guided to touch the dolphins. You have a couple opportunities to touch the dolphins and make them do tricks with you personally. It's not a free for all, but they do a good job making sure you have adequate time to be witht the animals. There was a baby dolphin when I was there who was the CUTEST!
