More a Valuables/Credit Card Tip
This tip concerns the forces of nature, and is not a criticism of the restaurant or people! I wasn't really sure where to put it....Beware of the spaces between the planks on the waterfront terrace at English Harbour if you eat at any of the restaurants here. We ate at Catherine's Cafe, a wonderful lunch venue, but hadn't bargained for A) It is on a deck above the sea B) There is a breezeSo, after we had finished lunch I wandered off to the ladies facilities and returned to find my husband in a state of panic. He had put his credit card on the table to pay the bill and the breeze had blown it through the gap in the decking into the water beneath. Luckily I had another card back at the hotel.....So husband decided he could get the card back by diving under the deck, into the water.
