My wife and I enjoyed a few lunches here as well as dinner one night. The food here is very good quality. The service is on "island time" but who cares you're on vacation. The menu...

Despite the very high temperature we never...

  • A Nice Return Guest Perk

One of the perks of being a return guest at Sandals is the Manager's Cocktail Party and Reception. The party begins with a cocktail hour with passed Hors d'oeuvres and an open bar. This is a great way to mingle with other guests as well as staff. We had several staff members that remembered us from the previous year and two in particular who wanted...

As I imagined it would be...the place was hopping. The...

  • Good Italian Food

Mario's is the Italian Restaurant on the grounds of Sandals Grande Antigua Resort. My wife and I dined here twice during our 2012 trip. What brought us here was word of their antipasto...

Barefoot on the Beach is one of Sandal's Beachside restaurants. The restaurant itself is in the "sand". • Cold Beers and Free Wi-fi

The Island B-Hive was exactly what we needed after an afternoon of shopping... a cold beer and free Wi-fi (the Wi-fi on the ship is slow and ridiculously priced even for a small amount of time). • Great food and special evenings

They used to define themselves an Italian restaurant; actually they are not Italians, the only thing they have of Italian is a (quite bad) translation of the menu BUT the quality of the food is really good, the ambiance is very amusing and, after dinner, they are used to organize every kind of stuff. Please note that, if you are looking for...

  • Breathtaking view and excellent food

This is a restaurant in an old mill and its a fine arts gallery. The scenery is the best that a Carrabean island can offer, moreover this place, run by two nice Italian guys, is extraordinary for the quality and for the service. • Prickly Pear

Prickly Pear island is about half a mile off the coast between Hodges Bay and Jabbawok Beach - so you need a boat to get there. You can get this from Miguels Adventures at Hodges Bay or take your own. The channel in is not easy and there are lots of coral heads though. The "restuarant" is a shack on the tiny beach built from driftwood and second...

We always go to Shirley Heights on Sunday night to watch for the green flash. It sits high above the English harbor which is a sight on its own. On Sunday night they have a steel drum band and local crafts and a great barbeque. Be careful if you have a problem with crowds cause everyone goes here on Sunday even the locals. It is great fun!
