The Kokoa Bar

by Mirellaboer

The Kokoa BarThe Kokoa is a bar on a pier. Especially on the sunday evening (between 17.00 and 19.00uur) there are a lot of people up there. Also a lot of local people. Also on sunday bands are playing there. It's just a great place! Casual, just wear what you want

It is a great party! After dinner hours are over, the place turns into a wild dance club! It is a very laid back atmosphere where a lot of young people go to get crazy. They make the best Melon Ball Sours!!! Dress code is casual to upscale. If you cover your privates with something that isn't totally tattered, you'll fit in!

My fellow females, I recommend checking out ladies night at this club. The night starts off with buff guys squirting drinks in your mouth, and competitions among each other coached by these buff babes. One event was a sack race where you have to try to jump to the other side of the room, chug your drink, and be the first one back. After you've worked so hard, you are rewarded by hotties with a pulse-racing strip show. And when it's all over, be prepared to dance the night away to some great club music. dress to impress

GREAT places throughout the city and/or on the resort. Don't have a favorite.Friendly people and terrific international representation. Anything from way casual to way dressed..totally your choice. Not too many places had dress codes...although not recommended to wear bathing suit in public without coverup or something.

We were there in the summer (low season) and night life pretty much nonexistent. We went to one club in the main downtown area that was quite dead. We began making later dinner reservations and used that as our late evening entertainment.

Carlos & Charlie's is always a good time. You simply MUST go on the party bus, the Kukoo Kunuku. It first takes you to a beach for a champagne toast to the sunset. Then on to the Minister of Protocol's house for an authentic Aruban dinner and drinks. Then they go barhopping to several bars and end up at Carlos & Charlie's at about midnight. Loads of fun and dancing! The photo is of downtown Oranjestad at night.

The Sopranos Piano Bar: How you doin?

by mnhouston01826

Put a tip in the jar and let the piano player jam the song you want. This is a really good time and a great place to meet new people. Casual, or whatever your choice is that day.

Garufa Cigar Bar: Have a stogie

A nice cigar bar infront of El Guacho. What's better than having a nice petit Carona before red wine and Steak?
