ARUBA DULL DIVING

by GUYCUSUMANO

THIS DECEMBER WE SPENT A DAY DIVING WITH RED SAIL SPORTS ON ARUBA'S MAIN BEACH. WHEN I SAY ON ARUBA'S MAIN BEACH THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT I MEAN. FOR CERTIFIED DIVERS IS WAS NOT A GOOD VALUE. THE BOAT NEVER GOT OUT OF SIGHT OF THE DIVE SHOP. IN THE PAST WE HAVE STAYED ON THE ISLAND AND KNOW FROM EXPERIENCE THAT AT THE BABY BEACH END OF THE ISLAND THERE IS MUCH BETTER DIVING AND SNORKELING. WOULD NOT SPEND MY MONEY FOR THIS TWO TANK DIVE AGAIN. GEAR WAS FAIR QUALITY RENTAL GEAR. BRING YOUR OWN MASK AND SNORKEL IN ANY CASE AS YOUR COMFORT LEVEL WITH THESE HAS MUCH TO DO WITH YOUR SAFETY.

Anything To Do With the Beach

by fitbod

Located at Pelican Pier on Palm Beach, is your connection to many activities...scuba, snorkeling, parasailing, banana boat rides, sunset cruises, fishing trips, underwater viewing of wrecks in a submersible boat, and more. The people are friendly and helpful. There are also a few shops here for swimsuits, clothing, jewelry, sunbathing products, etc. Bring your happy face :) ,swimsuit, hat, sunglasses, a towel, sunscreen, chapstick, snorkeling gear (if you own it), and anything else you obviously need for the activity you are planning to try!

Rancho Daimari Horseback Riding

by cruisingbug

After being picked up from our resort, we survived the very bumpy ride to Rancho Daimari. The stable itself was much nicer than the one at Rancho Notorious, where were rented ATVs. Beautiful setting on the north coast. A pretty tame ride to the Natural Pool (ask for snorkel gear BEFORE you climb down to the Pool-I was too lazy to climb back up). Be prepared for the gallop across the beach back to the stable - it can be hair-raising for inexperienced riders, and it isn't optional.

snorkling the thing to do in aruba

by suvaa003

one of the things to do in aruba is snorkling or diving or both. We went with a catamaran, what was great. The trip was worth it. All included, the gear, the drinks and snacks. I do not know how much it cost, I think around 30 dollar. We had free vouchers wat was even more fun. We went to a ship wreck and snorkeld around, Most of the time you are not able to do this, bu here in aruba you can. The corals are not great but the fishes are. And you can drive to the different beaches and just go and swim and see fishes

is snorkeling a sport?

by vrage

I love snorkeling -but we tried a different sport called "snuba" it was like diving -but with the tanks floating above you so you are limited to 20 feet. we saw all the fish, plus eels, starfish, and a small octopus! Bring an underwater camera -because there is so much cool stuff.

Windsurfing!

by rdhaliwal

I came out here to go windsurfing, and I wasn't disappointed. It was verrry windy, infact at times a bit too windy for me but i just sat it out on the beach or explored the island.I met many people who had come down specifically for the windsurfing, from novices to experts. I didn't see many surfers, but I did see the odd kitesurfer. You can easily hire equipment out there.

Numerous places to stop & Snorkel

by rdhaliwal

Buy some snorkelling gear when you arrive. Unless you take a boat trip i don't think you can hire very easily. There are so many places to snorkel, you will get your moneys worth.
