This is a quiet beach with fantastic blue waters and some nice waves. It looks like a swimming pool! I never saw more than about a dozen people here which is amazing. The beach is blocked off at the western end by a hotel so the limited access probably keeps the numbers down.
I also went there at night. I had heard beaches can be a bit dangerous but I never had any problems (nor sensed any).

The main attraction in Worthing is its long, sandy beach and clear blue sea.
Changing facilities and watersports are available at the end of the beach closest to St Lawrence Gap.
Walking along the beach in the direction of Rockley, the beach becomes less crowded. Although there are no facilities on this part of the beach, for me this is the best part of the beach. Ok, there are no deckchairs to hire - but who cares when you can spread your towel out under a palm tree!!
